After seeing my friend’s photo of this temple, I can’t resisted to visit this temple on my Kyoto Japan trip. Actually this is my second on my list. It is very beautiful unique building and have it own style and separate from the other temples I visited in Kyoto and Tokyo. This temple was added to the list of UNESCO world heritage site. It’s a must visit site in Kyoto. I woke up early around 5:30 am and arrived Kiyomizudera around 6:50 am to avoid the school children.
Jishu Shrine, deity of love and matchmaking.
Are they a matchmaking product?
The Otowa Waterfall, Japanese are lining up to get some water to drink. Heard that each stream’s water have different usefulness and benefit. It’s highly possible that all streams are coming from the same source of water. It was eye opening to see people running to line up to get some taste of it.
When I left there, a group of school children was showing up and there getting crowded. That was only 8:50 am.
